Assisted Living and Frail Care Centre at Belvidere Park, Knysna
The Belvidere Park Care Centre and suites have become increasingly popular over the years and to cater for increased demand, by both park residents and outsiders, we have recently extended the facility.
We are proud that we can now offer 14 upmarket suites, the newest of which have been specially designed to accommodate both those requiring Frail Care and also those that have reached a stage in life where they would feel safer and more comfortable, moving into Assisted Living.
The Care Centre is located within our Community Centre so there is always something going on; Expect to see park residents coming back from their yoga classes, dinner parties in the dining room, crafting sessions or collecting a book from the library.
Our brand new extension is on a single level with no steps and comprises of six spacious and bright suites, all equipped with a nurse-call system and each with their own little patio. There is even a lovely double suite that can comfortably accommodate a couple.
Some of the patios lead directly onto the swimming pool and others open up to their own warm, protected, private sunny patio.
All residents have easy access to the Parks beautifully manicured gardens and pathways that are wheelchair, walker and battery-operated cart friendly.
The Belvidere Park Care Centre benefits from the Belvidere Park security system; A 24 hour guarded gate house with direct communication facilities to each resident and a double security fence that is not only patrolled, but covered by artificial intelligence cameras that are monitored on a 24 hour basis at the All-Sound head office in Knysna.
The Care Centre offers 24 hour staffing complemented with trained Registered and Enrolled nurses and Care staff.
